Fashion with a reason.
Purple Pumps is our pancreatic cancer program, and its evening is Purple Reign. Picture a runway in purple, boutiques showing their best looks and hairstylists making the night, with music, a seated dinner and a few words that remind us why we are here.
We chose a fashion evening on purpose. A runway draws a crowd that a lecture never will, and it gives a hard subject a beautiful way in. People come for the show and the night out, and they leave having learned something and given something to a cause that rarely gets the spotlight.

Why pancreatic cancer
Pancreatic cancer is the third corner of our triangle. Dr. Winifred Frelow, who founded Winners For Life, faced both breast and pancreatic cancer, and pancreatic cancer ties closely to diabetes. Pink, purple and blue, one connected story.
Pancreatic cancer is hard to catch early and hard to fight, which is exactly why attention matters. It rarely gets the attention other causes do. Purple Pumps gives people a night they will remember, and turns that night into awareness and support. Read our story.
The vision for 2027
Purple Reign launches in December 2027 as our first fashion show, an evening of runway, dinner and purpose.
We are looking at Port Arthur or Beaumont, possibly the Civic Center. These plans are still taking shape, and helping shape them is part of the invitation. Come in early and you help build something from the very first night.
