Rilassati THRIVE is the youth division of Rilassati Women's Retreats: a school-year program of health education, leadership, mentorship, service and career exploration for teens in Southeast Texas.

Every August

The induction

In white attire, new members light a candle, take the THRIVE pledge together and receive their membership pins and certificates.

I pledge to live with purpose, lead with integrity, serve with compassion, learn with curiosity and strive for excellence. I am THRIVE.

How to join

Open to young people ages 14 to 18 who are enrolled in school, homeschool or an equivalent program.

  1. July and August. Interest meetings for teens and an orientation for parents.
  2. August. An application, a short personal essay, school information, parent or guardian consent and an interview.
  3. August. Induction and the start of the THRIVE year.

For parents and guardians

Families are part of THRIVE from the start. Parents attend an orientation, give written consent and are invited to serve and celebrate alongside their teen, all the way to the May awards banquet.

Adults who work with THRIVE members sign an attestation form, provide references and follow a code of conduct written to keep every member safe. Families receive the field trip, medical and media permission forms before activities begin.
